Don’t overload your bike, we carry the load!
Arrive on Friday afternoon at Moto Base Camp Memel to meet & greet, a few cold ones & our legendary Beef or Chicken Burgersat our on-site Bar/Restaurant to get your adventure weekend started.
After a good night’s rest, breakfast is served on Saturday morning before
Hitting the dirt for a fantastic day of riding your adventure bike.
Saturday;Crossing the KZN & Free State border several times on endless mountain passes after the first “Pitstop” at the Green Lantern Inn for a cold beverage, some chatter with the locals & re-grouping, it’s back to the dirt roads for yet more mountain passes to complete the second leg of the outride.
After sweeping dirt roads leading into the Normandien area, travel to the top of Normandien’s Pass for a stop at the Ark for a breathtaking view of the valley.
Perhaps also a quick boerie roll if time allows.
After the lunch stop head out again for the final leg heading up a lovely “whoopy” mountain climb for a quick stop & view of the Hole in the Mountain at Kranskop. 20km now lies between the group and our Off-Grid campsite with accommodation ready, a lekker braai at sunset & a Beer-bar with “traditional” 750ml beverages available.
- This guided route of about 300km (weather dependant) is offered for groups of
4-8 riders on the dates listed below.
- If your group likes to ride & guide yourselves, many more routes are accessible in the same area. Just follow the pin dropped to your evening camp when you have had enough awesomeness for the day.
Sunday morning arrives with coffee & a rusk, a cold shower (or not) before heading back to Moto Base Camp Memel for breakfast & a photo at our memory wall to end off your Moto Camping weekend.
